Hotzy makes fruit-based hot sauces in Sri Lanka, each built on scotch bonnet pepper. Taprovan carries the full three-sauce range, graded by the maker on a heat scale of 1 to 3: Scorpion Sting (mango, level 1), Snake Bite (pineapple, level 2) and Dragon's Fury (passion fruit, level 3).
Hotzy states no MSG and no artificial flavors or colors. The fruit gives each sauce a tropical, tangy edge, so they work on rice and curry, kottu, fried rice, grilled meats and noodles, or as a dip or marinade. Check the bottle for the full ingredient list and allergens.
